It has been more than 30 years since I started my first job as an attorney in the bankruptcy and commercial law department at one of Baltimore's largest law firms. After a few years representing mostly banks and financial institutions, I decided to pursue an independent path. Although I had no clients at the time, I hung out a shingle and started my own firm. I have never regretted this decision, which has led to a fulfilling practice providing legal assistance to regular people and small businesses.
Over the years the focus of my law practice has evolved and now includes the following areas:
Medical malpractice and hospital negligence. In these cases, I help individuals and families obtain fair compensation for serious injuries caused by the negligence of health care providers, including hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes, physicians, nurses, podiatrists, and chiropractors. Click here for information about filing a malpractice case.
Commercial litigation and creditors rights. Click here for additional information about this practice area.
Bankruptcy and reorganization, including representation of debtors, creditors, and trustees. My experience includes more than 10 years of service on the panel of approved bankruptcy trustees in Maryland. Click here for additional information about this practice area.
Insurance coverage disputes. including denials and terminations of disability, accidental death, and health benefits.
